""The weather did not cooperate as well as we would have liked but our athletes stepped up to the challenge and performed extremely well," said Dodge-Point coach Joe Hanson. "It is a chance to see how our athletes compete against some very good and unfamiliar competition. The coaching staff was very pleased to say the least."
He added, "Despite the cold and wind, we had several season bests. We have have coming over here for about 4 years now and this is the best we've ever finished. I know it is a bit longer to travel here and we get back late but most of our athletes come away with the feeling that they can compete against these Division 1 and elite Division 2 athletes and teams."
"I really have to thank the many parents and fans who made the trip. I hope they came away feeling the same way the coaches do, Dodge-Point has pretty good Track and Field program and they are part of it.," Hanson concluded.
