Dodger girls advance beating Dells

When you score and the other team doesn't for nearly a nine minute stretch that should prove big for our team.
The Dodgeville girls basketball team trailed visiting Wisconsin Dells 15-11 i the second quarter, but then went past the middle of the third frame holding the Dells scoreless. That put them up 24-15 and they never looked back winning 47-32 in a Division 3 Regional contest Tuesday night.
"We were getting good looks in the fist half, but they weren't going dodwn. We were 1x11 in the paint in theat first half," Dodgeville coach Josh Busch said. "Our second unit came in the second quarter and got us the lead going intohalftime. Then our first unit forced some turnovers to start the third. I think we had four 10 second call on them. So our defense put us into a goode half court offense. We gianed confidence and played well the second half."
