Senior Babe Ruth splits with Platteville


A walk off walk with the bases loaded gave Dodgeville's Senior Babe Ruth team a 6-5 win over Platteville in the first game of a season ending twinbill Friday.
The second game saw the Hillmen plate seven runs in the fourth and go on to win 8-2.
The Dodgers ended their summer conference season 9-3.
Brycen Pratt took the mound win in the first game in relief of Brian Simmons.
Bobby McNeill started the winning rally with a single and advanced on a stolen base and passed ball. Brett Binsfeld walked and toured the bases and eventually scored the winning run on the walk.
Austin Larson, Nick Kvigne. Colin Evenson, Pratt and McNeill had Dodgeville's five hits.
Larson and Pratt both pitched in the second game. The Dodgers scored two runs in the fifth when Aaron Dowling tripled to score Travis Sigg who had walked and Evenson singled to send in Dowling.
The Dodgers also had hits from Simmons and Sigg in the game.
