Richard James and Judy Hamilton were married on February 3, 1962, at St. Joseph's Church in Dodgeville, WI. They have 4 children: Mary Beth (Jeff) Sottrel of Deltona, Fl; Rick, who died in 1989; Cindy (Rob) Bierstaker of Sauk City, WI; and Brian (Christine) James of New Glarus, WI. Dick has lived and worked on the farm since he was five years old. They had a farm auction in 1986, and the farm became a "Hobby Farm." Dick went to work at Lands' End for 24 years. Judy was a registered nurse and was employed at Upland Hills Health, formally St. Joseph's Hospital and Memorial Hospital of Iowa County; Bloomfield Manor; Iowa County Health Dept.; Dodgeville Medical Clinic; Mineral Point School District; and Iowa-Grant School District. They are planning an Alaskan cruise this year.
