On New Year's Day, we'd like to see
someone in Iowa County light a torch infused with the "Golden Rule." It would be passed to another who would, in turn, pass it on and on and on to everybody here, to everyone in Wisconsin, the United States,
and to every continent.

By the year's close, it will have been touched by all
persons worldwide, empowering each with concern to "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you."

Then all that matters would
fall into place -- love,
morality, and peace -- our wish for the
New Year!
