Everybody plays in Dodger girls win over Heights
Brooke Lee and Taylor Stanek led a balanced scoring attack with 11 points each.
"We had a lot of girls get some good playing time tonight," said Dodger coachjosh Busch.
The Dodgers led 31-17 by halftime and were up 42-23 at the close of three. Heights outscored the Dodgers 24-14 in the fourth quarter to make the final score close.
Jenna Endres hit 18 of her game-high 21 points in that frame. Kylie Swanson also hit double digits with 10.
"We were in about the same position as the New Glarus game with the lead, but this time we came out in the third quarter and stretched the lead to 20 points. We did a nice job starting the second half," Busch pointed out. "We were able to put some kids in situations tonight that should help us down the road."
The Dodgers take a holiday break from action and resume next year on Thursday, January 3 when they travel to River Valley. They host Brodhead in a non-concerence contest the following Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. start.
At the Brodhead game, the Regional Championship teams of 1997-98 and 1998-99 will be honored.
