Dodger girls ease by Riverdale

Thirteen players got in and nine scored as the Dodgeville girls basketball team thumped Riverdale 52-38 Tuesday night in non-conference action at Riverdale.
The word thumping comes as the Dodgers led 40-13 going into the fourth quarter when the Dodgers' bench cleared.
Dodger Taylor Stanek led all scorers with 13 points with Megan Zoet adding 10.
Riverdale was paced by Kayla Frazier's 10 points, seven coming in the fourth quarter.
"We had good balanced scoring tonight. After almost two weeks off I didn't know what to expect. I was happy with the way the girls came out and tended to business," said Dodger coach Josh Busch. "We finished at the rim better tonight than the game before."
The Dodgers open SWC play with a big conference contest hosting Richland Center Friday night. Saturday they go to Just a Game Fieldhouse to take on Adams Friendship - JV plays at 4:10 with varsity scheduled for 5:50. Monday they are at New Glarus also in non-conference play.
