Dodgers win a game, but lose the match
It was up and down for the Lady Dodgers as the Lady Hornets survived game one in overtime by a 27-25 score then they coasted to a 25-16 win in game two.
The Lady Dodgers took game three in overtime by a 25-23 tally.
Game four went to the Hornets by a 25-11 margin.
On the night, Dodger freshman Taylor Stanek had a double/double. She nailed 14 kills and came up with 10 digs.
Senior Rachel Pope had 13 kills and seven digs.
Sophomore Kendra Lee had a pair of service aces and also blocked two shots.
Sophomore Kristi Bramlett also recorded a pair of blocked shots as did senior Laura Ley.
Junior Hailey Jones came up wih four digs.
Junior Megan McCarthy was involved in 41 assists.
Leaders for the Hornets were: Lynch 23 kills, two aces and two blocks, Nigl two blocks, Bindl two blocks, Collins 21 assists and two aces and Crary 15 digs.
