Richard and Debra Poad of Mineral Point, along with Christopher and Robin Lindner of Linden and Edward and Sherry Batton of Montfort, are pleased to announce the engagement of their children, Allison Poad and Jarett Batton.
Allison is a 2006 graduate of Mineral Point High School and a 2010 graduate of Southwest Technical College in the Business Management program. She is currently employed at Wells Fargo Bank in Dodgeville.
Jarett is a 2005 graduate of Iowa-Grant High School and a 2006 graduate of UW-Madison in the Farm Industries Short Course program. He is currently a self-employed dairy farmer on the family farm in Montfort.
The couple will be getting married October 15 at the First United Methodist Church in Mineral Point with a reception to follow at Dodger Bowl Banquet Hall in Dodgeville.
The couple resides in Montfort with their one year old daughter Myah.
