Dodgeville's golf team claimed the 2011 Iowa County Cup Thursday when they defeated both Mineral Point an Barneveld in a match held at Dodge Point Country Club.
The Dodgers shot a consistent round of 174 over the par 35 layout with Michael Clerkin leading the way shooting a medalst round of 41. Jacob Oomens and Steven Brokish both posted a 44 with Brad Butteris hitting 47.
The Pointers came up with a 194 to top Barneveld's 201.
Pointer Bailey Berget led the way with a 46 with Chase Martin coming in with a 47. Bobby Lynch had a 49 while Niko Hagen post4ed a 52.
Barneveld's Tanner Sorenson had a 46 to lead the Eagles. Dakota Carden and Tanner Sullivan both hit 51 with Zyus Johnson having a 53.
