RV's Yager to join Pioneers


Kelsi Yager, a 6-foot right-side hitter from River Valley High School, recently announced that she will continue her volleyball career at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville.
Prior to UW-Platteville:
The former Blackhawk finished among the top 20 in program history in block solos and is a two-time recipient of the Coaches Award
Yager led the team to a 27-13 overall record as a senior, where she was second on the team in kills. She was named second-team all-conference, River Valley's Most Improved Player, and to the Dodgeville Chronicle All-Area Team.
As a junior, the Blackhawks went undefeated in conference play with a perfect 10-0 record, and was a member of the River Valley regional championship team as a sophomore.
Yager joins Haley Jansen from Southwestern High School in Hazel Green, Sarah Kolb from Sun Prairie, Andrea Larsen from Notre Dame de la Baie Academy in Green Bay, and LeeAnn Mizgalski from Wausau West High School as the Pioneers' class of 2015.
She is the daughter of Heather McDonald and Greg Yager.
