Knights trip Plain in Night League play
Ryan Reilly sent in two runs with a deep fly to center and Eric Rohowetz launched a three run home run for the 5-0 first inning lead.
Plain answered with a run in the bottom of the first as Joe Gorman singled, advanced on a wild pitch and scored on a single by Sam Liegel.
The Knights picked up a run in the third on a walk to Tanner Solberg, walk to Danny Sullivan and rbi single by Reilly.
Plain plated a run in the fifth when Bobby Rohowetz reached on a fielders choice and scored on an error.
The Knights opened it up in the sixth. Eric Rohowetz walked, Brandon Weier was hit by a pitch and Mark Ludwig singled to load the bases. Jacob Pluemer doubled for two runs and later in the inning Travis Elvert's single brought in two more.
The final run for the Knights crossed in the seventh. Eric Rohowetz singled, advanced on a hit by Tony DeMuth, took third on a wild pitch and scored on Pluemer's single.
Eric Rohowetz and Ludwig were both 2x3 and Pluemer 2x2. Greg Brennum, Gary James, Solberg, Elvert, Sullivan, Reilly and DeMuth all had one hit.
Brennum got the win with three strong innings of work and Pluemer finished.
Brennum fanned three, walked two while giving up three hits and one earned run.
Pluemer gave up five hits, walked two and gave up an unearned run.
The Knights host Wisconsin Dells tonight in a Night League game.
