Dodger linksmen end season at regional
The Dodgers shot a team total of 401 to finish seventh in the nine-team regional.
Mount Horeb won with a 331 with Platteville runner-up at 337. Also qualifying for sectional were River Valley (341) and Sauk Prairie (351).
Other team scores were: Viroqua 354, Prairie du Chien 373, Dodgeville 401, Richland Center 408 and Westby 427.
Medalist on the day was Mount Horeb senior Jesse Roberts, who shot 77. Teammate and freshman Geoffrey Krentz had a 78 as did River Valley freshman Graham Westley.
The Dodgers were led by Jacob Oomens with a 92. He was followed by Michael Digman 100, Michael Clerkin 103, Brad Butteris 106 and Joey Singer 107. Digman is the lone junior in that group - the rest are seniors.
Other River Valley scores were: Alex Wedige 85, Robb Gust 89, Torey Carpenter 89 and Hunter Ring 95.
Individual qualifiers were: Gabe Chotzen, Viroqua, 82; Kris Graewin, Prairie du Chien 86; Thomas Larson, Viroqua, 89 and David King, Viroqua, 90.
The four teams and four individuals that advanced were scheduled to compete at Evansville Tuesday.
