A record number of competitors entered the 30th Anniversary of Mineral Point's Annual July 4th Run/Walk.
A total of 371 participants gathered at Soldiers Park on the morning of July 4th to run and/or walk in the annual 2 and 5 mile Gettin' the Lead Out race.
Two new time records were set in the 13 and under male division and in the 14-18 female division. Congratulations to Jack Schickel and Hannah Owens. Bruce Schmitz was the first over the 2 mile finish line and Trevor Wunnicke was first to finish the 5 mile course.
It was a great start to a great day in Mineral Point.
