Kara Longenecker and Peter An-derson were married on July 24, 2010 at the First English Lutheran Church in Platteville. The bride is the daughter of Dave and Linda Longenecker of Montfort and the groom is the son of Mark and Nan-cy Anderson of Eau Claire. Siblings and friends of the couple were in the wedding party.

Following the ceremony, the couple celebrated with their guests at a reception held at the Holiday Gar-dens Event Center in Potosi. The couple honeymooned in Seattle, Washington and Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Peter and Kara both attended UW-Madison, where they graduated in mechanical engineering and horticulture, respectively. They now reside in Madison, where they work at Extreme Engineering Solutions in Middleton and Epic in Verona.
