On September 11th, Jeffery A. Welp and Jennifer L. Blanke were married at St. Stephen's Parish Catholic Church in Stevens Point by the Father Jerzy Rebacz. A reception followed at the Elks Lodge in Stevens Point.
The bride's parents are Mike Blanke and Jill Platta and step-father Pat Platta, all of Amherst. The groom's parents are Paul and Sara Welp of Spring Green.
The bride is a 2006 graduate of Mid-State Technical College and is employed as a teacher at Once Upon A Time Childcare in Verona.
The groom is a 2000 graduate of Dodgeville High School. He was a 2006 graduate of Mid-State Technical College for Urban Forestry and graduated in 2011 from UW Stevens Point in Forest Management. He is employed by the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
The couple resides in Madison.
