Scullion, JohnAnn B.

JohnAnn B. Scullion, 87 years young, passed away peacefully at her home on February 11, 2023 in Highland, WI.

JohnAnn was born on August 3, 1935, to the late Roland and Octavia (Kroll) Felton in Madison WI. She was raised in Madison, WI and later moved to Highland, WI where she graduated from Highland High School in 1953.

JohnAnn married the love of her life William (Bill) Scullion on September 29, 1953. Together they farmed on their family farm and were blessed with four sons. She instilled in their boys at a young age that the kitchen was NOT just for women and devoted her time teaching them her passion for cooking and baking. She accomplished that task with flying colors, as all her boys love to cook and bake and are very good at it, just like their Mother.

JohnAnn's most beloved title was being a mother. She loved following her sons and grandsons through their wrestling careers, along with following her grandchildren's rodeo competitions. She made many life long friends in the process. Anyone that knew JohnAnn knew that she loved fiercely. She showed this love with a friendly smile, a warm hug, or a full belly of her delicious food. She loved listening to Elvis Presley, watching John Wayne, and was always willing to play a friendly game of cards. She looked forward to weekly card parties with friends. To JohnAnn family was everything and they gave her great pride and joy!

JohnAnn was a devoted member of SS Phillips Church where she taught religion for many years and was an Alter Society member. She was a consultant for Avon and Tupperware and later began working at Lands End in Mail Processing for 25 years until she retired.

She is survived by three sons, Jim (Karen) , D. Kelly (Cathy), and John (Maryann), all from Highland WI.

JohnAnn was blessed with 10 beloved grandchildren. Jessie Scullion, Ben (Alix) Scullion, Trent Scullion, Clint Scullion, Chantel (Brantly) Bollant, Dustin (Lisa) Scullion, Katelyn (Cade) Nichols, Ashley (Bryce) Moen, William Carnaham, Christine Piangco, and 12 Great Grandchildren, as well as many nephews and nieces.

JohnAnn is proceeded in death by her husband Bill, her son Walter, grandson Clint Scullion, her parents, brother Dale Felton and step sister Patricia Herrington.
