Ralph, May Yeager
Donna May Yeager Ralph passed away surrounded by her loving family on November 11, 2022 at the age of 95.
She was born on August 26, 1927 and grew up in rural Mineral Point where her family farmed through the Great Depression. She attended Mineral Point High School and graduated Valedictorian of her class of 1945. She attended University of Wisconsin Platteville for business and later achieved her CPA. She was the accountant for the W. Elden Rule Construction Company, Town of Linden Treasurer, Manager at Farmers Savings Bank for 26 years and later many years of tax preparation for local businesses and individuals.
Donna was very passionate about her professional career, but all her love was at home on the farm. Dust never settled under her feet with three children, the farm and construction business. Her attention to detail ran deep into every aspect of her life, most evident in her flower gardens. Her backyard was a cornucopia of fruits, vegetables and flower beds in every direction.
We will miss the music she brought to our family and the whole community through her 4-H leadership and church choir. We will miss her saffron biscuits, potato doughnuts and brown sugar candy just to name a few.
Donna was proceeded in death by her husband Robert Ralph, the father of her children W. Elden Rule, son William E. Rule, her sister Ruth Jungbluth, daughter in law Charlotte Rule, great granddaughter Romy Mae Sazama and parents C. Howard and Eunice Yeager.
Donna is survived by her family Charles (Betty) Rule, Rhoda Rule (Kurt Kroll) and Paula Rule. Sisters Mary Jane Rideout and Joyce Harris. Grandchildren Angela Udelhofen (Tim Kaiser), Joyel Rule, Kyle (Ashley) Rule, Samantha Rule (Jordan Greene), Kayla (Jerrell) Sazama, Megan (Brad) Walter. Great Grandchildren Hunter Hubbard, Zander Simenson, Callin and Casen Udelhofen, Carter and Halle Rule, Sullivan Sazama, Rhyker and Rhett Walter and another on the way. Also the Bob Ralph family, her loving neighbors in Cobb, her extended family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Mineral Point. Pastor Chris Droste will officiate. Burial will be in the Laxey Cemetery, rural Linden. A visitation will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 until 10:50 a.m. at the church.
Donna's family gives thanks to the exceptional care St. Croix Hospice provided during the past few weeks. We would also like to thank the Cobb First Responders and the Highland Ambulance Service for the care they provided while mother was home.
