Robert W. Burbach, age 90 of Mineral Point passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2022. He was born July 10, 1932 in Grant County, the son of Walter & Marian (Horn) Burbach.
He was united in marriage to Blanche Langkamp on May 10, 1952 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Platteville. She preceded him in death December 14, 2012 after 60 years of marriage.
Bob and Blanche farmed and operated their vacuum business until retirement. They could be found at local restaurants eating and visiting during their daily journeys. Bob enjoyed many relaxing car rides with his friend Judy Van Natta until her passing. The last few years you would find Bob at local restaurants and cruising the old back roads hoping to see someone who he could visit with and tell a few jokes & stories.
Bob is survived by his three children, Linda (Phil) Crist, Ron (MaryAnn) Burbach, and Mike (June) Burbach all of Mineral Point, six grandchildren, Brad (Sarah) Crist, Sara (Brad) Burmeister, Joe (Alissa) Burbach, Mindy (Ryan) McConnell, Tony (Alyssa) Burbach, and Apryll (Garrett) Wang and Fourteen great grand children, Taylor, Cole, and Cooper Crist, Bowyer, Brody, and Briggs Burmeister, Ryley and Mason Burbach, Callen and Gage McConnell, Presley and Stella Burbach, and Wesley and Clayton Wang. He is also survived by his sisters and brothers; MaryLou Trowbridge, Bill (Judy) Burbach, Larry Burbach, Bette (Kenny) Pickel, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Ruth Udelhofen, and may other relatives.
Bob's greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. How lucky we were to have known him, loved him, and been able to spend all this time with him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 15, 2022 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Sportspage in Belmont.
