Margaret Wodrich, age 84, was born on April 30, 1937, on the farm in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, the first born to Jennie and Chris Neuroth. Dr. Ludden delivered her. She grew up on the family farm and graduated from Dodgeville High School 1 month after she turned seventeen. She went to Minneapolis, Minnesota and trained to become a Medical Technologist working in the medical field for 30 years. She married the love of her life David Wodrich on December 16, 1960. They lived in the Minneapolis area until they moved to Pflugerville, Texas in 2011 to be close to their son, Dale's family.
Margaret joined Immanuel Lutheran church. She was the matriarch of the family organizing trips, reunions and holiday celebrations. She loved the Lord and volunteered in the church and the community. Margaret and David enjoyed travelling, square dancing, entertaining, playing cards and visiting family and friends. They enjoyed going to their lake place on weekends.
Margaret is predeceased by her parents, Jennie and Chris Neuroth, brother, Charles Neuroth, and grandson, Kenny Beland.
Margaret is survived by her beloved husband, David Wodrich; children, Sherri Harty, Minnesota, Theresa Butts, Florida, and Dale Wodrich, (fiancée, Kit Schultz), Texas; sister Mary (Bob) Kohls, Austin, Texas, brother, James (Deborah) Neuroth, New Berlin, Wisconsin and brother-in-law, Jim Wodrich, Minneapolis, Minnesota, grandchildren, Chloe and Blake Wodrich, Stephanie and Anthony Harty, Chris Butts, Ayla Lemoine; and two great grandchildren, Vincent and Julian Hughes. She has many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Pflugerville, Texas on March 5, 2022 at 2 p.m.
