Ziebarth, LeRoy A.

LeRoy A. Ziebarth, age 92, of Arena, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Greenway Manor Nursing Home in Spring Green. He was born on November 14, 1929 in Avoca, WI the son of Herman and Leona (Richter) Ziebarth. LeRoy served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a lifetime Arena VFW Post #9336 member. He was married to the former Shirley Butteris on August 11, 1956, farmed most of his life and was a member of the Arena Congregation Church.

Survivors include his children, Debbie (Greg) Geller, David Ziebarth, Donna (Jeff) Fowler, Dale Ziebarth; 8 grandchildren, Michael (Alicia) Geller, Leah (Steve) Wagner, Sarah (Daren) Mindham, Erin (Matt) Heredia, Nathan (Jessica) Ziebarth, Isaac Ziebarth, Mitchell (Katie) Fowler, Emily (Dustin) Ripp; 12 great grandchildren, 2 sisters-in-law, Eileen Ziebarth, Gloria Jean Marie; a brother-in-law, Harold Butteris, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Leona Ziebarth; his wife, Shirley Ziebarth, and infant son, Dean Ziebarth; a daughter-in-law, Laurie Ziebarth; 9 siblings, Irvin Ziebarth, Edward Ziebarth, Irene Cowley, Mildred McIntosh, Harold Ziebarth, Mary Getz, Marion Pfanku, Ruth Poast and Robert Lawler.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 11:30 A.M. at the Arena Congregational Church. Tim Norland will officiate with burial in the Avoca Cemetery where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Ewing-Olson VFW Post #9336. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service at 11:30 A.M.
