Skogen-Reeson, Kenneth

Kenneth Skogen-Reeson, 31, died October 3rd, 2021 in Phoenix, Arizona where he was attending UTI-Motorcycle Maintenance Institute, achieving his goal of being a certified Harley-Davidson technician. He could cruise past his pain on his H-D with his dog Remington riding behind him. Riding beside his many friends in WI, Colorado and Arizona gave him the most joy. Known for his quick wit, ready smile, generous heart and awesome music playlist, Ken will be missed by all who knew him.

Ken attended school in Ridgeway and Reedsburg graduating from Challenge Academy in 2009. He served with the Wisconsin National Guard as a truck driver and as part of Reeson Family Farm, Loganville from 2001-2013. He was employed for 9 years with Mr. Ed's Magical Midway, North Freedom, as operator and mechanic of the rides under the mentoring of Chad Duchow.
Ken was born August 22, 1990 in Beloit, Wisconsin, the son of Patricia Skogen, Monroe and Ralph Reeson, Arena. He was the grandson of Ralph and Helen (Hach) Reeson of Ridgway and Selmer and Leona Skogen, Beloit. He is survived by his parents, sisters KI Skogen Johnson, Beloit and Autumn (Chad) Cole of Cottage Grove MN and his niece, Harper. He is also survived by Roger (Sarah) Skogen, Rose (Jack) Dobie, Helen (Jack) Godfrey, Chris (Drew) Cardin, Jennifer (John) Meeker, Regina, Randy, Robert, Rock, Ron (Fawn), Reggie(Paula), Rex (Kim) Reeson and many cousins in Southwestern Wisconsin and Texas.

A celebration of Ken's life will take place on Saturday November 6th, 2021 at 2 p.m. with lunch following at Folklore Village-Farwell Hall, 3210 Cty Hwy BB, Dodgeville. Friends and family are invited from 12 noon until 7 pm before and after the memorial.
