Tyrer, Gary A. "Buckey"
Gary A. "Buckey" Tyrer, age 50, of Dodgeville, passed very unexpectedly on Sept.15th at his home. Gary was born Feb.11th 1971 to Gary and Rose (Currie) Tyrer of Dodgeville.
Gary is proceeded in death by his stepfather, Doug Currie and brother-in-law, Terrance Vance.
Gary is survived by his mother, Rose Currie of Dodgeville and his siblings, Angela Vance (Shannon Kerstein) of Edmund; Michelle (Davin) Bushey of Wisconsin Dells and Robert (Rana) Lindeman of Darlington. Along with several nieces and nephews including Scott Ready, Nicole (Mikey) Henrich, Darrien Lettman, Trae (Molly) Vance, Tierra Vance, Trinity, Jose & Bobby Lindeman, A brother in law Donald Letteman of Avoca and daughter Amada Miller of Madison.
Gary's father had passed when he was a young man being without his father we also relied on Grandparents- Fred & Edna Tyrer of Dodgeville along with sisters being our "brother's keeper" to help raise him and help him in his adult life. Even though being mischievous in nature, he loved his family. In his adult life, one of Gary's passions was fishing. He loved spending time with his nieces (Nicole & Darrien) showing them just how to fish. Gary enjoyed doing construction work. Working for Cleary Buildings for years along with working for Cummins Emission for a period of time. After years of hard labor and suffering back injuries, Gary was not able to work, He then in turn helped his mother after his stepfather had passed. He enjoyed spending time with his mother and doing "porch patrol". Gary did have a tough demeanor towards some but had a soft heart when it came to his family. He is truly loved and will be greatly missed.
A ceremony for Gary will be held at a later date.
