Molzof, Mary Ann

Mary Ann Molzof, age 74, of Lancaster formerly of Cobb, WI passed away on Tuesday June 22, 2021 at Meriter Hospital in Madison. She was born on January 17, 1947 in Liberty Township Grant County, WI the daughter of Charles and Dorothy (Cooper) Klais. Mary Ann was united in marriage to Lyle Molzof on May 6, 1967 at the St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Liberty Township.

Mary Ann graduated from Fennimore High School and then received her degree in Barber Cosmetology. She owned and operated the Cobb Beauty Shop for over 30 years. Mary Ann loved her relationship with her clients throughout the years. She later began working at Land's End in Dodgeville where she was employed for 20 years until her retirement and moving to Lancaster. In her younger years, Mary Ann enjoyed softball, which lead to her becoming a huge Brewers fan. She was also an active member of the Cobb Fireman's Auxiliary, helping out with the community ballpark and the concessions. Mary Ann enjoyed camping, knitting and crocheting. She was very passionate about her faith and her dedication to the St. Paul's United Church of Christ until it's closing. She was a dedicated member to all church functions, teaching Sunday school and always helping with events in the fellowship hall. Her kind, loving, quick witted and caring ways will be deeply missed.

Mary Ann is survived by her two sons; Edward (Sharon) Molzof of Stoughton and Jeffrey Molzof of Lancaster, three grandchildren; Tamika (Logan) Swinehart of Oregon, Tara (Tanner) Ness of Marshall, and Tanessa Wunsch of Sun Prairie, four great grandchildren; Tucker and Thaxton Ness and Blake and Morgan Swinehart, brother Terry (Monica) Klais of Prairie du Chien, and her sister Kay (Bob) Bonjour of Darlington.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lyle on June 6, 2016, and her brother and sister-in-law Melvin and Lavon Klais.

A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday July 9, 2021 at the Larson Family Funeral Home in Fennimore with food and fellowship to follow at the Family and Faith Hall in Fennimore. Visitation will be held from 9:00 A.M. until the time of service at the funeral home on Friday morning.
