Mueller, Alice M.
Alice M. Mueller, age 91, of Cobb, died on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison following a brief illness. Alice was born on December 18, 1929 in Dodgeville to Thomas and Berniece (Jewell) Cornish Sr. She married Raymond Mueller on February 10, 1951. They farmed in the Livingston - Cobb area their entire married life. Alice was a devoted member of the Cobb United Methodist Church where she was active in U.M.W. and always ready to help where needed. She enjoyed being a Red Hatter. Alice loved gardening and quilting but her greatest joy was time spent with her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond on March 9, 2007; her son, Steve on February 5, 2017; her parents; her in-laws, John and Lillie Mueller; two brothers, Thomas Cornish Jr. and Darrell (Bernice) Cornish; two brothers-in-law, Charles Mueller and Robert (Mary) Mueller; two sisters-in-law, Ruth (Doug) Uren and Helen (Jack) McClimans.
Alice is survived by a son, Thomas (Nancy) Mueller of Dodgeville; a daughter, Kerry (Ed) Gratz of Darlington; a daughter-in-law, Laurie Mueller of Montfort; a special "extra" son, Randy Zinck of Salt Lake City, UT; six grandchildren, Matt (Izabela) Kaminski; Amanda (Todd) Jarzenski; Kendra Mueller, (fiancé Patrick Dyer-Smith); Ben Reuter; Travis (McKayla Koehn) Mueller and Tyler Mueller; three great grandchildren Aubrey Reuter and Anderson and Elliott Jarzenski; a brother, Lowell "Bump" (Lucky) Cornish of Castorville, CA; a sister-in-law, Evelyn Mueller; as well many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Alice M. Miller, age 91, of Cobb, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at the Cobb United Methodist Church with Rev. Ty Hines officiating. A lunch will be served following the service followed by burial in the Rock Church Cemetery in Livingston. Friends may call at the church in Cobb on Tuesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. Memorials to the Cobb Library or the Cobb First Responders would be greatly appreciated.
