Richard Rothenbueler, 74, passed away on December 28, 2020 in Maple Grove, MN.
Richard was born in 1946 in Ashland, WI to Fred and Pauline Rothenbueler. Richard grew up in Muskego, WI. He married Gail Cayan in 1981. Richard was a high school math teacher in Deforest, WI, the Wales School for Boys and Dodgeville High School. Richard was active in Boy Scouts in Troop 357 in Dodgeville, WI and in Troop 38 in Spring Green, WI. Richard always liked to cook and would frequently invite his children's friends over to his house to enjoy a meal, even after his children moved away. Richard was an avid Badger sports fan. He enjoyed seeing and spending time with his grandchildren. His sense of humor will be greatly missed.
Richard and Gail moved to Maple Grove, MN in July 2019 to a senior living facility as his health was starting to decline.
Richard is survived by his wife Gail, his children Daniel (Kristen), Michael (Mollie), Amy Fagan and Jennifer Hook, 7 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. His brothers Randy (Gloria) and John (Jean), his sisters Dianne (Ken) Greene and Rosemary Dreesen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial services are pending due to the COVID pandemic and will be announced at a later date.
