Lillian Flesch, age 101, of Mineral Point, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at Saint Mary's Care Center in Madison, Wi. Lillian was born on January 13, 1919 in Linden, WI, the oldest daughter of Jack and Marion Adams. Lillian married Clarence Flesch on March 9, 1946 at her family home in Mineral Point, WI.
Lillian graduated from Mineral Point High School in 1937 and graduated from Platteville Teacher's College in 1941. Taught in Cohasset, MN; Pittsville, WI; Cassville, WI; Ridgeway, WI and Mineral Point where she taught 6th grade until retiring in 1982. Lillian was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mineral Point and was a member of VFW Aux, American Legion Aux, Mineral Point Women's Club, Super Quilters, Friends of Library and a volunteer at the Mineral Point Care Center to name a few.
Lillian is survived by son, Jack Flesch (Caryl) and daughter Martha Farris, Grandaughters Crystal Schlenker (Karl) and Carrie Birchall (Ezra). Great grandchildren: Tyler Hatlevig, Ashley Birchall, Emilee Birchall, Isaiah Birchall and Karsten Schlenker, and part of our family, Sherry Birchall. Sisters: Gerry Dott and Marilyn Owens. And many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death besides her parents, husband and daughter, Linda Flesch are sisters: Wilma Baker, Vera Bratton, Bobbie Buss and Norma McCluskey. Brothers-in-law: Bob Baker, Sr, Charlie Bratton, Harold Buss, Don McCluskey, Jerry Dott and Wayne Owens.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Gorgen Funeral Home in Mineral Point, WI. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private services will be held with immediate family only. Burial will be at Graceland Cemetary.
