Moon, Katheryne L. (Miles)

Katheryne L. (Miles) Moon made her journey home Oct. 13, 2020. She was born in New Hampshire on June 27, 1988, to Richard and Stephanie (McWilliams) Miles. She attended Iowa-Grant High School in Livingston, Wis. She made many friends that she would cherish forever. Katie could make friends with anybody; you would meet her, and by the time you were done talking to her, you would love her. Her bubbly personality, beautiful eyes, pretty smile and lovely lone hair would instantly attract you.
Katie had many dreams. She wanted to skydive, travel to visit the castles of Scotland, and purchase an RV to travel the United States with the love of her life, Brian Moon. She was working towards those dreams while starting a business with her dear friends, Shane, Karynn, Andrew, and of course, Brian. She enjoyed being outside in God's light, whether it was working, fishing, or walking with Mareyeah while she rode her first bike. Katie was blessed with three of her own children, Gavin Miles Kosharek, Madeline Cavins and Mareyeah Guitterez. In 2018, she gained one more child when Anthony Taylor (Moon) came into her life. She lived for those children, and her last wishes for them were that they always work hard and never give up on their dreams. One of her dreams was her home in Monona. She would spend many days on the lake with friends, cooking out or just watching the sunset at the lake.
Katie is survived by her parents, Richard and Stephanie; sisters, Rebecca, Crystal, Linda, Sam; and brother, Ben. On Brian's side, she is survived by her sister and newfound friend, Stephanie; brothers, David, Jason and Cory; mother and fathers-in-law, Kathy Dalberg, Harry Aldrich and Brian Moon Sr.; her four children, Gavin, Anthony, Madeline and Mareyeah; nieces and nephews whom she loved deeply; and her best friend and soulmate, Brian Moon. There are too many close friends to list. Katie will be deeply missed and not a day will go by that the world will not miss her personality and laugh. She was definitely one of a kind, and I will love her until I take my last breath.
