Regan, Gerald D.
Gerald D. Regan, 90, passed away at his home in Huntley, IL of an apparent heart attack. Gerry was born to Alice (DeMuth) and James Regan in St. Joseph's Hospital on April 30, 1930. He graduated from Mineral Point High School in 1948. After graduation he entered the US Marine Corp. After his service he worked for the Babson Bros. Dairy Supply until his retirement. Then he marketed the Laverne Kammerude"s historic drawings of farm scenes throughout the country.
In 1966 he married Lutie Abbot where they lived in Elgin, IL. He is survived by His wife and three step children, Douglas (Lois), Dawn and Margaret and three grandchildren, his sister, Lucille May and sister in law, Helen Regan. Gerry is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Gerry was preceeded in death by his brothers and sisters in laws, Harry ( Helen), Francis (Mary Anne), Bob ( Pat Schaaf), Bill (Jean). His Sisters and brothers in laws, Eileen (Lester Hungerford), Josephine (Carl Richland), Paul May and Sr. Kathleen Regan
Burial was in the Plato Center, (IL) cemetery. A memorial Service will be held at a later date.
