Greg Parman, age 64, of Hollandale, passed away peacefully with family by his side on Thursday, May 7, 2020 at University Hospital in Madison from injuries sustained in a traffic accident.
He was born on August 7, 1955 in Dodgeville, the son of the late Jack and Colleen (Hogan) Parman. He graduated from Barneveld High School in 1973. On September 13, 1974, he married Catherine Lease in Mt. Horeb.
Greg and Catherine farmed for 17 years in Barneveld. He coached for many years for many different levels from youth to the Varsity level for both the boys and girls basketball programs. He enjoyed golfing and farming when he could for his longtime friends.
Greg is survived by his wife of 45 years Catherine; his children Kevin (Peggy) Parman of New Glarus, Kelly McGhee (fiancé, Allen Wunschel) of New Glarus and Travis (Shannon) Parman of Belmont; ten grandkids Jack, Max, Katie, Ellie, Anna, Chloe, Jesse, Clay, Liberty and Calen, AKA "the Knuckleheads" as Grandpa Greg would say; his sister-in-law Caryl Parman of Washington State.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Tom Parman.
Due to the COVID-19, Private family services will be held at the GORGEN-McGINLEY & AYERS FUNERAL HOME in Dodgeville. A Celebration of Life is being planned for later this summer.

Greg will continue to live on through his choice to be an organ and tissue donor.
