Pink Jr., Harold Edward
Harold Edward Pink Jr. age 67, of Highland passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Upland Hills Health in Dodgeville. He was born on July 15, 1952 in El Paso, Texas, the son of Harold and Marilyn (Edwards) Pink. Harold was united in marriage to Theresa Kreul on June 5, 1993 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. They spent many dates getting to know one another while square dancing at the Castle Rock Inn.
Harold, also known as "Jamie," graduated from Lancaster High School in 1971. He worked various places in Southwest Wisconsin. He truly enjoyed working at the Farmers Implement, in Mineral Point, as a mechanic for the past 35 years. He liked spending his Saturday mornings at Betsy's Kitchen and Hying's Hardware. On his way home, "Pa" would stop at JT's to buy special treats for his feline friends. Saturday evenings were spent watching westerns and RFD TV. On Sundays, he treated his two favorite ladies to lunch. Harold looked forward to summer vacations traveling through the Badlands, watching the rodeo at Cody, Wyoming, and touring Yellowstone National Park. The highlights of these family trips were observing the wildlife, having picnic lunches, and time spent at Wall Drug. But mostly, Harold was proud of his daughter, "Tay," and all of her accomplishments. He especially enjoyed watching the Haliday Gala at UWP. Everyone who knew Harold appreciated listening to his stories, which he always told in great detail.
Harold is survived by his wife Theresa "Terri" of Highland, daughter Becky Pink, whom he called "Tay," four siblings; Roger (Jane) Pink of Platteville, Tom (Kay) Pink of Lone Rock, Larry (Sharon) Pink of Platteville, Linda (Dan) Schlee of Rochester, MN, brother and sister-in-laws; John (Kathy) Kreul of Highland, Peggy (Mike) Kohl of Montfort, Jim (Chris) Kreul of Reedsburg, along with many special nieces, nephews, and many dear friends, including neighbors, Delbert, Pat, and Barb Kroll. Harold was preceded in death by his parents Harold and Marilyn Pink, brother Bruce Pink, father and mother-in-law John and Fern Kreul, and sister-in-law Dawn Pink and sister and brother-in-law Connie and Pat Shemak.
