However, the Golden Eagles found some success in the top of the fourth.

Fifrick would then score on a wild pitch to put Fennimore up by a run.

Hanson was able to get the three outs needed to get out of the jam.
Hanson reached on a base-on-balls in the bottom of the fifth to start.
Gunnar Gorgen would then single to left field to get the tying run to second.
Will Straka laid down a well-placed bunt to load the bases for Mineral Point.
After a strikeout, Joah Filardo stepped up to the dish and hit a two-RBI double into center field to put the Pointers on top 5-3.
Dominik McVay went on to hit an RBI double of his own later in the inning.
McVay would then score from third on a throw to second base.
After a fly out, Mineral Point took a 8-3 lead by plating six.
Hanson kept throwing well and allowed no runs in the top of the sixth.
Leyten Bowers produced in the bottom of the sixth with a bases clearing double to push the Pointer advantage to 11-3.
Fennimore's pitchers struggled to throw strikes throughout, and Straka and Springer were hit by pitches with the bases full to push across two more runs and the game would be called with two outs in the bottom of the sixth.
The win secured the Pointers' claim to a Southwest Wisconsin Activities League championship.
