It might be decision day today for fall sports
The WIAA apparently is not considering the proposal from schools in CESA #3 for moving fall sports to spring and spring to summer.
The WIAA Board of Control discussed the proposal along with other ideas for sports during the school year Monday at a retreat. WIAA communications director Todd Clark said he is anticipating releasing details soon of a special business Board meeting later this week.
In a statement late Tuesday from WIAA Communicatinos Director Todd Clark, it read:
"The Board of Control has scheduled a special business virtual meeting Thursday, July 23 at 9 a.m., to address the fall sports season, and consider and respond to a sports season schedule proposal submitted by school administrators from the southwest area of the state.
Details of the Board's decision addressing the fall sports season will be released following the special business meeting.
