Saturday morning breakfast took Bob, Terry and I to Vicki's Cozy Cafe just off the main street in Muscoda. Dewey and Dave were both gone so it was just the three of us. We usually order different things so we can see what all they offer, but we have been there several times. This time we all ordered an omelette - different types however. They came with hashbrowns and toast so we went away filled up. Our main server was a young girl who graduated from high school just last year by the name of Alleyah. She pronounced it Alliah. I ask her why not Alleah. She said to ask the woman in the kitchen - it was her mother! We had two other servers come to our table at times with coffee and to see if we needed anything else - very good service!

After we got back I called Bob to see if he wanted to go on the Fall Art Tour with me as I needed to take some photos. He said sure so we headed out on County Q to the place of Pamela Callahan and John Walte's studio, a usual stop that we make. Upon arrival we found out they had opted out of participating this year after the brochures were printed. They said it was posted on the website. I told them I'm a paper guy and was going by what was written! They wanted to wait another year to see if restrictions were lifted and they had a lot going on at their place to get ready for winter. They came out and talked with us for quite some time and said we could go through their cabin that they rent out at times (see above photo). John left, but Pamela talked a lot more about her history and experiences.

We made a few stops in the Spring Green area and made sure that we stopped at Sharon Nicholas' new place in the downtown area. She had been in the Dodgeville part of the tour for years, but recently downsized and sold her beautiful home and studio just off Highway 23 a few miles out of Dodgeville. She has been a good friend for many years! Her late husband did a lot of restoration to buildings in downtown Dodgeville several years ago.

We then hit a few of the places around Dodgeville before heading back home. It was a fun and informative tour!
