Opioid Task Force needs assessment approved

The Health and Human Services Committee approved a needs assessment study sent to them from the Opioid Task Force last month.
The Opioid Task Force was formed last year to help determine where opioid settlement funds will go, as the county has began receiving funds that will total approximately $626,000 through 2038.
This needs assessment defines activities tied to opioid prevention, treatment, and recovery and provides a current inventory of Iowa County assets and service gaps....
