County Board to act on Bloomfield sale Tuesday

The Iowa County Board of Supervisors will be asked to approve a resolution at their monthly meeting Tuesday to finalize the sale of the Bloomfield Manor property.
The board's Executive Committee learned Tuesday that the purchaser from California has toured the property and viewed the condition of the buildings. Also, the property is zoned single family residence with further zoning requests now the responsibility of the purchaser.
The sale of the property was advertised on Wisconsin Surplus Auction which requires the board to take action to remove the listing.
The purchaser is in process of moving funds from his bank to Iowa County and when that takes place the deed will be transferred.
County Administrator Larry Bierke said he hopes all is ready for finalization next Tuesday.
