Iowa County 4-H Ambassadors selected
Twelve young adults have been selected to be Iowa County 4-H Ambassadors for 2022-23 after a day of interviews and team building activities
Ambassadors are Emi McCarville, Hollandale, a member of Blue Ribbon 4-H; Kristina Vinger and Logan Eastman both from Dodgeville and members of Cobb Busy Badgers 4-H; Ella James and Erica Rose Lease both from Mineral Point and members of County Line 4-H; Ellie Ihm and Izabel Durst both from Barneveld and members of Mounds View 4-H; Morgan Oxnem, Dodgeville, a member Five Point 4-H; Caitlyn Fritsch, Montfort, a member of Red Barn 4-H; Jadyn Swinehart, Mineral Point, a member of Pleasant View 4-H; Quentin Koss, Montfort, a member of Kountry Kousins 4-H; and Abby Murphy, Highland, a member of the Country Cardinals 4-H.
After a banquet, the top two individuals were announced as 2022 Royalty. The H-Team members were then announced which represents the Head, Heart, Hands and Health of 4-H. Head is a person who demonstrates clearer thinking and knowledge gained in 4-H, Heart who demonstrates greater loyalty to 4-H, Hands who demonstrates larger service to others, and Health who demonstrates better living within their community by physical and mental means.
4-H Ambassadors will be leading Barnyard Olympics at the 2022 Iowa County Fair, volunteering at community events and promoting 4-H at schools this fall in addition to hosting 4-H events during the upcoming year.
