Broadband services moving forward, sale of Bloomfield Manor property approved by Iowa County Board
A request from MHTC for contributions from Iowa County as partners to provide broadband services was addressed by the Board of Supervisors Tuesday.
Partnership for the three areas would cost the county $782,544.
The partnership includes:
-$597,930 to provide service to an area north of Barneveld which will serve 452 residents.
-$146,497 for a fiber line on Hwy K south of Barneveld for 69 locations.
-$38,117 for 22 locations in the Green Leaf Glen subdivision north of Dodgeville where the residents have already made contributions....
