City of Dodgeville discusses some minor contract changes

While it was a brief Dodgeville City Council meeting on Tuesday night, one of the major discussions was minor changes to city contracts.
The first contract on the table was a Low Income Household Water Assistance Program Vendor Contract. City Clerk Treasurer Laurie Aulik informed council members that it was a minor contract change. The assistance program is a state program that assists individuals with paying their utility bill. Aulik explained that there are only a couple Dodgeville Households that use this service. With the program making some contract changes, learned that an approval was needed to better reflect the language used. Council members approved the amendment.
Another contract change was regarding the Section 125 Plan pertaining to Temporary COVID-19 relief. Aulik explained that this was another minor change to contract language. Due to the pandemic, many employees were not able to use their medical flex funds. This amendment reflects contract language allowing employees to use the funds they have set aside....
