4-H Day in the Arts contest seeks entries
The arts are for anyone! No matter your grade level or interest, there is something for you to experience through the 4-H Arts. The goal of the 4-H Day in the Arts Contest is to give youth an opportunity to express their creativity, while also developing skills in a supportive and encouraging environment. There is no cost to participate, and 4-H membership is not required.
The 4-H Day in the Arts Contest is open to youth in 5K through one year past high school. The contest will have nine divisions - vocal, instrumental, dance, drama, speaking, demonstration, arts & crafts, photography, and Cloverbuds (for grades 5K-2 only). Entries are limited to a total of 5 entries, with a limit of 2 entries per division.
This year the contest will be virtual, with all entries submitted digitally by Sunday, March 7th at this link: http://bit.ly/3aCmeEr. All performances and exhibits must have been performed, completed or taken after October 1, 2020. Each submission will be evaluated and provided written constructive feedback. Merit ribbons will be award to outstanding entries.
There will also be a virtual celebration and public viewing of top art submissions in each category on Sunday, March 21st, in which youth are welcome to invite friends and family to participate.
