By Kenyon Bennett Iowa County Food Pantry (ICFP) received $1,000 and food and supplies from Sielaff Corp. staff Dec. 17, Jenny Holz, ICFP assistant manager, said. "The money we receive helps to buy so many things we need here," Linda Tucker, 10-year ICFP volunteer, said. "We often buy supplies from Second Harvest Food Bank. We can buy supplies there at much lower rates so we can help more people in our county." Southwestern Wisconsin Community Action Program (SWCAP) oversees ICFP and Community Treasures Thrift Store at 138 S. Iowa St., Dodgeville. Clients are not allowed inside ICFP during the pandemic. Please call the pantry at 608-935-2326 to discuss your food or supply requests with an associate. The staff or volunteers create your package, but you must pick it up outside the building at a designated time. Please call 608-930-8733 to obtain thrift store hours. Holz, employee Keri Welborn, and volunteer Tom Simmons, ICFP, provided Sielaff staff with a tour of the facility. Paola Gutierrez, Linda Palzkill, and Mary Ann Harrington, the Sielaff team that organized the donation drive, walked the grounds. Tucker and volunteer Paul Manley stocked shelves. Jerry Schaaf drove the Sielaff truck to deliver the food and supplies.
