Ridgeway Village Board handles borrowing for upgrades

The Ridgeway Village Board approved several resolutions for improvements and for the future.
Approved by the board were:
-borrowing of $540,000 from Farmers Savings Bank for water tower repairs and painting, at a rate of 2.95% for a period of 10 years with semi-annual payments.
-borrowing $170,000 from Farmers Savings Bank for the purchase of a new plow truck and park improvements, at a rate of 2.25% for a period of 5 years with semi-annual payments.
- borrowing $450,00 from Farmers Savings Bank for construction at the Cardinal Community Center (RES building) at a rate of 2.60% for a period of 7 years with semi-annual payments.
