"Listening Session On Roads' meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, January 27 at Pecatonica High School in Blanchardville
Southwest Wisconsin legislators including State Senators Jon Erpenbach and Howard Marklein and Representatives Sondy Pope and Todd Novak have been invited and have been urged to attend the rapidly approaching 7 p.m. meeting Monday evening, January 27 at the Pecatonica High School in Blanchardville and focusing on improving highways and roadways in the area.
Speaking Sunday - organizer Mike Berg said he, along with Iowa Co. Board of Supervisors' Chairman, John Meyers, urge all area residents concerned about the lack of high quality travel route infrastructure to attend the 'Listening Session On Roads' meeting at Jan. 27 in Blanchardville. Berg says Iowa County, Green County and Lafayette County officials have been invited as well as Argyle and Pecatonica school representatives - along with Green County, Iowa County and Lafayette County's respective highway commissioners, township and village muncipality representatives from across the surrounding areas.
Berg says the goal is to find a way to have a better, safer, straighter, more direct route to the heavily traveled Highway 18-151 four lane corridor (from towns in and along the Pecatonica River Valley) - than the winding Hwy. 78 and CTH F roadways currently in place. For more information about the meeting session, please call Mike Berg at 608-214-7042 or e-mail Mr. Berg at: firstname.lastname@example.org.
