distribution, etc. charges filed
Terry L. McCluskey, Jr., Dodgeville, appeared in Iowa County Circuit Court Tuesday on two different criminal complaints.
After making an initial appearance on armed robbery and several bail jumping charges he appeared on several counts that could determine where he spends the next several years if convicted.
McCluskey, Jr. is charged with three counts of distribution of methamphetamine to minors which carries a fine of not more than $25,000, six months in jail or both.
He is also charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a child, sexual assault of a child under 16 years of age, three counts of child enticement, first degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 16, repeated sexual assault of a child, two counts of felony bail jumping and one count of misdemeanor bail jumping.
In all, McCluskey is charged with 18 counts. All carry various fines and penalties with the most serious the first degree sexual assault of a child under 16 which could imprison McCluskey for up to 60 years with a fine of not more than $100,000.
Most of the other charges carry penalty of not more than 25 years in prison and heavy fines.
According to the criminal complaint McCluskey traded meth with a 15 year old girl for sexual favors. The complaint states he also provided her with other drugs.
McCluskey will appear on the 18 counts along with the armed robbery charges January 24 at 1 p.m.
