....Frank Both, Oconomowoc, WI. He was the Grand Prize winner of the $10,000 given away by the Dodgeville Area Chamber of Commerce Friday night, March 19 at the reception held in the banquet room at the Dodger Bowl. In all, $12,500 in cash or Chamber Bucks and 11 gift baskets were given away as prizes with every fifth name drawn receiving a prize. Above, Dodgeville Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Beth Mikrut-Gilles reads off a ticket number. At left, board member Jeff "Potsie" Weber was in charge of the rolling bin that housed the tickets he drew and then handed to Beth to read. Then (seated) former board member Larry Bierke was in charge of recording numbers/names while board president Kari Wunderlin (center) was in charge of writing checks and board vice president Sally Walmer was in charge of getting the right post-it note to the carriers who posted the winners and chamber donors. The two also double checked Bierke's work. With the help of Kerith Straks the event was live-streamed over YouTube. It was a group effort that came off without a hitch.
