Wright’s Feed Service is 40

During those first months following the tornado, Al credits other feed businesses from surrounding communities that offered to help after the cataclysmic storm. “Ken Von Ruden was the manager at Dodgeville Agri-Service, and as soon as the tornado had hit, Ken reached out. Irv Steinhauer from Mount Horeb had Irv’s Feed & Supply and he also reached out. Those two businesses reached out immediately,” he said. “We were able to run through Dodgeville Agri-Service. They were gracious. We’d get feed in, and then we’d go over and deliver out of there. We kept things going,” Wright said.  There was no question that the business would be rebuilt. Rezoning changes prompted a relocation to its current location in the commercial park at the outside of town...
