Noble, Dorothy M.

Dorothy M. Noble, 88 of Mineral Point passed away peacefully January 1, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 12, 1935 in Dodgeville, WI to Claire & Gladys (Hanson) Thorison. Dorothy graduated from Mineral Point High School. She worked at Burgess Battery, Mineral Point, General Telephone Company, Dodgeville, WI, owned & operated High Street Fashions, Mineral Point and also worked for and then owned Auction Specialists, Inc., Mineral Point. She married Albert (Foggy) Noble September 29, 1973. They had 30 years of a wonderful fulfilled life together. She was also a member of the United Church of Christ. 

Dorothy is survived by her children- Gregg (Wanda) Godfrey, Mike (Laurie) Godfrey, Deb Bowers & Scott Noble, all of Mineral Point. Her step children- Larry Noble, Dodgeville, Jennifer Noble & Laura Noble, Madison, WI. 13 Grandchildren, 11 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Grandson. Her sister Mary Mussehl, Belleville, WI, sister in laws Virginia Noble, Mineral Point & Louise Noble, Pewaukee, WI., many nieces, nephews & friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Albert, her sister & brother in law Lois & Elmo Vial, brother & sister in law Claire & Billie Thorison, brother in law Donald Mussehl, stepson Jack Noble & step granddaughter Kari Noble. 

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Congregational United Church of Christ in Mineral Point. Pastor Susan Stull Carr will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until 11:50 a.m. at the church. In leu of flowers memorials can be made to the UCC Church or to the family upon their wishes.
