Dodgeville council hears update on Armory building

The Dodgeville City Common Council held its regular meeting Tuesday night.   An update on the Armory Building was given.  The city acquired the building late in 2023.  It has been unoccupied for over 3 years.  Plans to tour the facility in January were pushed back due to some issues within the building.

Those primary issues were pipes cracking at corners as no water had run for all those years it sat vacant.  The city hired the site and building assessment firm of Architectural Design Consultants, Inc. (ADCI) to evaluate and assess the property.
