Thanks for making it all possible

As usual the summer has gone by fast.  It seems like only a couple days ago we started the summer baseball seasons for youth and those playing Home Talent League baseball.  Now we are down to only a few teams still playing.

Dodgeville has held the highly successful Farmers Appreciation  Days and DodgeFest.

Mineral Point was able to hold several music events and have the rest of the summer scheduled out even with the business district street torn up.  The good news it is now finished and better than ever.  It paves the way for more events to celebrate the street’s completion.

Ridgeway has held its succesful Farmers Market along with well attended summer events such as its July 4 on the 2nd celebration.

Arena has celebrated its 150 years and has been busy.

There have been events in Avoca, Rewey and Linden had another successful frolic.  Then, coming very soon is the annual Cobb Corn Boil.

One more event deserving mention are the fundraising efforts underway to repair the Montfort Pool, a very valuable piece of not ony Montfort but the entire area.

As you can imagine the area has been very busy.

But none of this would be able to take place without the wonderful people known as volunteers.   They have shown up not only for the event but also have been responsible for the planning.

Nothing takes place without the volunteer and without those who have the ability to plan.  Every year the events get better so to the volunteers,  thank you for all that you do to put our area on the map and keep it there.
